Tip 1

Don't let your checking account be a money stagnant place. A checking account is only for cash flow purposes. Direct deposit your money into interest yielding accounts (i.e, money market, interest only checking account) and only input money into your checking account for bill payment.

Your credit cards have the most weight in determining your credit score. Always keep your credit card balance less than 40% of your allowed credit limit.
